What is CSHS?

The Computer Science Honor Society (CSHS) recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding achievement and commitment in computer science.

You need 30 volunteering points plus 70 additional points (100 total) to get inducted.

• Volunteer Opportunities: Multiple events and activities throughout the year
• Meetings & Events: Attending meetings and club events earns points
• Competitions: Participation in CS competitions can earn points
• Workshops & Tutoring: Helping or attending workshops and tutoring sessions

When you are inducted into the Tompkins CSHS chapter, you will receive a cord at graduation (if you are a senior).

• Induction Requirements: 6 hours (30 points) + 70 additional points (100 total)
• Graduation Cord: Awarded to inducted seniors
